I approach design with curiosity and skepticism in equal measure. I question defaults, examine assumptions, and resist templates when they don’t fit the people they’re meant to serve.
I value systems that respect human judgment and designs that create space for choice, interpretation, and learning. Accessibility and inclusion are not checkboxes, but signals of care.
Good design doesn’t announce itself—it quietly supports understanding and leaves room for independent thought.
Where AI Fits Into My Process
AI doesn’t replace the designer. It can’t replicate human empathy, intuition, or the ability to design for nuance and context. What it does offer is leverage: more time to think, better coverage in research, and sharper outcomes in testing. For me, embracing AI isn’t just about keeping up with industry standards — it’s about shaping the future of UX.
